About the Role:

To cover routine operational support activities of Applications (SAP + Legacy) and adjacent business processes in Gulf Countries. Support new systems and functionalities implementation in Gulf Arabic Countries.

Ensuring proper functioning of information applications systems in accordance with Business needs through interaction with Global Service Provider (GAM), Vendors, Regional GAM

Main Responsibilities:

APPLICATIONS SUPPORT and DEVELOPMENT

•        Provide quality support and functional expertise to the end-user in Gulf Countries

•        Challenge and Verify priority and severity for the support requests, ensuring the proper focus and sequencing of the activities in the functional area

•        Proper classification of coming requests with clear results communication to the business

•        Maintain action log for the opened issues in the area of responsibility, agree and communicate to the business clear due dates and plan for resolution

•        Knowledge sharing

•        Provision of technical and user documentation for system procedures/business processes

•        Reporting Project statuses and Support/Maintenance activities to Regional GAM, and Business stakeholders

•        Re-enforce a team culture of excellent customer service with an emphasis on consistent communication with the business

CHANGE and PROJECT MANAGEMENT

•        Providing knowledgeable support to the business initiatives in SD/FI/CO areas according to the best practice aligned with the Group ones

•        Facilitate requirements definition with business, perform analysis proposing possible alternatives

•        Functional/technical specification design ,test plan and validation for ongoing projects/changes

•        Ensuring solution compliance with local regulations, audit requirements, legal standards

•        Coordination of Local and Group IT initiatives in functional area in Gulf Countries with engagement of Key Users

•        Delivering trainings and documentation on implemented solutions/functionality to the end-users

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree in computer science
  • Should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in SAP ,supporting various modules with competency in SD(sales and distribution) and FICO( Finance and controlling)
  • Fluent in English language, Arabic is a plus
  • Having an FMCG experience is a plus
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills, should be able to interact to the business as part of Requirement gathering/solution design/status reporting for Application support/Projects related tasks
  • Knowledge on other application like SFA ( Newspage) , Power BI is a plus
  • Basic knowledge on IT procedures, Operating Standards, SLAs and KPIs is a plus
  • ITIL certified is a plus
