José M. J. - Tic Tac Product Manager

When I joined Ferrero, I was anxious and unsure of what to expect. Both the company and the city of Guadalajara were new and unfamiliar to me. I was pleased to find an environment which is both challenging and exciting. In the beginning, I was afraid that the challenges of a new job and new city would be overwhelming.
Fortunately, my immersion into the Ferrero culture was painless. The Human Resources staff was very helpful guiding me through my orientation process, and my new co-workers made me feel welcome right from my first day on the job.
I arrived at Ferrero just as the planning for Tic Tac's country-wide re-launch was about to begin. Shortly after starting, I became quickly aware of the international nature of my job. I began to have meetings and develop contacts with people in other countries. It became evident that knowledge of an additional language would be necessary for my job, so I decided to learn a fourth language, Italian, which became a valuable tool for my work.
As a Product Manager, I have faced many challenges that have made my work more than exciting. I am always gratified to see how the Company and my team support innovation and how much I've grown as a professional and as a person.
I value the opportunities I have been given while working here. I feel very fortunate to be part of a team of people who encourage creativity and innovation and who believe in my talent.
